People hold sincere and deeply different beliefs about abortion. This project does not attempt to resolve those disagreements.

Instead, it examines a broader question:

Beyond debates about abortion, what does the evidence tell us about other opportunities to protect human life and reduce preventable harm?

This section is intended for readers of every background and political viewpoint. It is not about asking anyone to change their beliefs on issues outside the scope of this page. Those conversations exist elsewhere. Here, the focus is narrower: examining evidence about ways public policy may help prevent harm before it occurs.

This section brings together peer-reviewed research, government reports, legislative records, and other primary sources on topics such as alcohol-related harm, opioid prescribing, violence, public health, and medical policy. By organizing these materials in one place, the goal is to make it easier to compare evidence across issues that affect human well-being.

The purpose is not to replace the original sources or ask readers to adopt a particular conclusion. Every claim on this page is linked to the underlying evidence so readers can evaluate it for themselves.

The Tennessee Freedom & Fact Coalition serves as a research hub that organizes publicly available information to make it more accessible. We encourage readers to examine the original studies, review the legislative record, and consider how different policies may affect health, safety, and quality of life.
